Your child starting school is a huge milestone for both your child and you. We want you and your child to feel as prepared as possible for starting school. Ways you can do this is by supporting your child to learn particular skills and knowledge that will help them in those initial days and weeks in their new school. Follow the links below for a list of skills and knowledge it would be beneficial for your child to do and know. There is also a checklist of things, you as the parents, may need to do before your child starts school.
If you have any concerns about your child's 'school readiness' then please speak to a member of the nursery team. If your child does not yet attend our setting, then please let us know during your initial phone call with a member of the EYFS team.
