Protective characteristics

The 2010 Equality Act makes it an offense to discriminate against a person due to there protected characteristic(s). At Riddings Infant and Nursery School we introduce the children to the protected characteristics. This is usually alongside the PSHE (Jigsaw) curriculum, in Project Evolve lessons or in whole school assemblies. Alongside our school KINDER and our 'All different, All special' values.
