AVSSP Competitions
During this academic year so far, we have competed in a Handball and Dodgeball competition, both at Alfreton Leisure Centre. At these competitions 6-8 children were selected to represent our school and compete against other schools within the Amber Valley area.
Our children represented our school phenomenally and we came first in both competitions. We are incredibly proud of our children.
Alongside inter competitions, we also offer half termly intra competitions where children have the chance to have friendly games against others in their year group.
Champion School
As part of our affiliation with AVSSP, we are able to access lots of different competitions across the school year. At the end of the academic year schools are ranked based on their school involvement and participation in these games.
I am so pleased to announce that across all infant schools involved, Riddings Infants have ranked 2nd place! We are super proud of all of our children for their engagement.
