After school club opportunities – where talents and interests are fostered.
The school provides a wide range of opportunities to nurture, develop and stretch pupils’ talents and interests.
This years after school clubs have began with the coach Mrs Mitchell from Amber Valley School Sports Partnership who will do a range of sports clubs. This will be extended by our school physical education co-ordinator Miss Kidd who will also run a sports club once a week.
The staff at school will also run a variety of clubs over the academic year, to enrich the children's experiences.
The clubs will be open to the children in year 1 and 2 to begin with, while the reception children settle into school. The clubs will be offered to these children later on in the school year.

Computing:
In our computing after school club we enjoyed learning how to do lots of different things:
- taking and editing our photos to make them look different
- creating our own artwork and even making our drawings move using different apps.
- using bee bots, programmable cars and apps such as Daisy the Dinosaur to learn how to create algorithms...
