Computer Safety

When using computers and other technology we encourage our children to always be safe.

In 2016 our after-school computing club came up with our Computer Code which you can download below. The after-school club in 2017 reviewed and agreed on the code too.

You may find some of these sites useful to support your child in using technology safely:

www.internetmatters.org

www.commonsensemedia.org

The link below also allows you to access a magazine which includes a guide to online safety:

At Riddings Infant and Nursery School we encourage our children to use computers and other technology in a safe and sensible way.

As well as following our computer code we also teach the children about the importance of being safe online through Computing lessons, after-school clubs and our PHSE and PSED curriculum too. You can view our computing scheme of work in the Curriculum section of the website.

If you would like to know more about E-safety and how to keep your child safe online you can find some helpful information and videos at https://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/.
